The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment (GSG) is an independent organisation catalysing impact investment and entrepreneurship to benefit people and the planet. The GSG was established in August 2015 as the successor to and incorporating the work of the Social Impact Investment Taskforce established under the UK’s 2013 presidency of the G8. The GSG currently has over 40 member countries. Chaired by Nick Hurd, and with Sir Ronald Cohen as President, the GSG brings together leaders from finance, business and philanthropy to solve some of the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Our Aim That measurable impact is embraced as a deliberate driver in every investment and business decision affecting people and the planet. Our Mission To harness the energy behind impact investment to spark a movement around the world.

Old Dovorian Club

The Old Dovorian Club, is your global network and life long connection to Dover College. The objective of the Club is to maintain contact between past, present and future pupils of Dover College, through fostering friendships amongst its members, and the wider College community. The Old Dovorian Club is a club of former pupils past members of staff who attended Dover College. The Old Dovorian Club also supports a number of different Club groups and Club activities, which are there for the benefit of its members. The Club fields a number of sports teams to play against the College throughout the year, this is in addition to hosting its annual drinks party in mid-January at the RAF Club in Piccadilly, as well as organising a number of other formal and informal gatherings throughout the year. To help keep its members informed of what is happening at the College, as well as Club news, activities and members' news, the Old Dovorian Club issues a news publication called the 'Dovorian News'. This publication comes out in June and December and is emailed out to all of its members, as well as being published on the Club's digital platforms. As part of the Club's communication strategy, the Club also runs a number of social media platforms, all of which are supported by direct emailing and the Club's website. The purpose of this is to keep its members connected with each other, as well as to the College.

Disaster Aid UK & Ireland

Disaster Aid UK & Ireland, as part of Disaster Aid International, has a number of responsibilities which include: Collective responsibility for decisions and actions undertaken by Disaster Aid International; Undertaking fund raising activities to pay for the deployments and associated costs undertaken by Disaster Aid International; Raising awareness worldwide with presentations, exhibitions and demonstrations; Developing "Ambassadors" in the wider community to give presentations for Disaster Aid UK & Ireland at various events; Recruit and train volunteers for the deployment of aid in the event of a disaster
