Youth Progress

At Youth Progress we believe that young people in the juvenile justice and foster care systems are leaders, scholars, artists, athletes, and entrepreneurs. Together, we are a diverse and inclusive community of staff and foster parents who provide young people with safe and stable housing and opportunities to grow, learn and succeed. Established in 1964, and Re-imagined in 2018, Youth Progress has successfully served young people in the juvenile justice and/or foster care system for over 50 years.

Alternative Family Services

Alternative Family Services is a foster, adoption and mental health agency serving thousands of foster children, youth and families since 1978. AFS MISSION: Restore and improve the safety, health and well-being of vulnerable children in families and communities.

Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County

Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County changes lives for good. We help people of all cultures and beliefs rise up out of poverty and overcome the barriers to self-sufficiency. Because most lives are a complex pattern of choices and circumstances, we take a holistic approach to helping people change their lives, taking into account the whole person as well as their family and life situations. We do this through a broad range of services, including job skills training and placement, older adult services, mental health and substance abuse counseling, housing assistance, financial education, immigration support, and refugee resettlement. We also provide educational programs that help young people develop into self-sufficient adults. Each year, we serve more than 120,000 people in need. Our compassion and commitment go beyond direct service and compel us to address the root causes of poverty. We launched Step Up Silicon Valley, a Movement to Cut Poverty, part of a nationwide effort started by Catholic Charities USA. We are working with a coalition of community-based organizations, interfaith allies, government representatives, and business leaders who are working to cut poverty in Santa Clara County. Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County has been serving individuals and families for 60+ years. While we are affiliated with the Diocese of San Jose, Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County is a separately incorporated nonprofit agency. We are self-funded and operate independently with a CEO, Board of Directors, and separate financial structure. We are part of the nation's largest social services network through our affiliation with Catholic Charities USA, which serves more than 9 million people each year.

Mission: Momentum WORK, Inc. is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities by providing access to innovative services that support personal and professional growth. Vision: A not-for-profit organization, Momentum WORK, Inc., is committed to supporting people with disabilities in living their lives on their terms. Who We Are: For over 53 years, we have been committed to being leaders in practicing Person-Centered services that maximize employability, independence, and quality of life. We give people with disabilities the opportunity to realize their dreams—the hope, the confidence, and the advice to take the next step towards the life they desire. The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region

For 65 years, The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region (The Arc NCR) has empowered people with differing abilities to live, work and play in the community. The Arc NCR currently offers the following services to individuals with differing abilities living in Harford and Cecil Counties: Supported Employment Services to adults Family Support Services to individuals (age 0-21) and their families Services for Transitioning Youth Treatment Foster Care Services to children and their families Supported Living and Personal Support Services to adults Community Partners day program for adults Our Mission The Arc NCR empowers people with differing abilities to live, work and play in the community. The Arc NCR supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create lives that mirror yours and mine: students attending neighborhood schools, adults going to work and living in their own homes, and individuals enjoying the social and recreational opportunities in their communities. We are a private, non-profit local chapter of The Arc Maryland and The Arc of the United States, the largest national community-based organization devoted exclusively to improving the quality of life for all adults and children with developmental disabilities.
