LSS of SD is a statewide, multi-service non-profit human ministry organization. Serving the state since 1920, LSS’s vision is that all people in South Dakota will be healthy, safe and accepted. At the heart of this vision is community collaboration, prevention and a continuum of 18 service lines dedicated to strengthening families and keeping children in their homes and communities. LSS believes, and studies show, that when individuals are part of a strong, stable family, whether that is a traditional family or more unstructured natural supports, they are more likely to be successful—and this is woven into their mission throughout each service line. Their wide range of services—including affordable and accessible mental health counseling, pregnancy counseling and adoption services, financial guidance, family stabilization programming, youth mentoring, residential services for children and youth, and alternatives to juvenile detention—enable a holistic approach to care and collaboration among service lines to best meet needs tailored to each individual, family and community. We proudly serve people of all ages, faiths, races, and economic statuses, offering professional, confidential, and affordable services. Our services are licensed by the State of South Dakota and accredited by the Council on Accreditation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accountability in all that we do.

Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, Inc.

Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina (BCH) brings hope and healing to children and families in crisis. For 130 years, the nonprofit has offered caring homes to countless boys and girls who come from circumstances ranging from family dysfunction to situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment. The organization provides a myriad of services including children's residential care, family care for single mothers and their children, homes for developmentally disabled adults, weekday education, and a resource-based program for aging adults. BCH and its highly-trained staff serve all 100 counties through 20 statewide locations across North Carolina. BCH is accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA). In 2015, BCH was reaccredited receiving perfect ratings on 96% of the 1,000 standards that were evaluated.

Easterseals Northern California

For more than 90 years, Easterseals Northern California has provided services to people with disabilities and their families to help them achieve their goals. We’re creating a more equitable world so people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can choose their path. We do this by reimagining how care and support can be better connected to fill gaps in human services across an individual’s lifespan. As Northern California’s premier home and community-based services organization, we’re committed to making care delivery easier for those with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as their families, by expanding access and affordability of direct services. Our experienced clinical team performs comprehensive assessments and services that are tailored to meet the needs of our clients and their families through programs including Early Intervention, Autism Services, Parent-Led Applied Behavior Analysis, Social Skills Groups, the Kaleidoscope Community Adult Program, Parent Coaching and Respite Services. All services are accredited by CARF International.

Valley Mountain Regional Center

Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC) intends to use our LinkedIn Page to communicate innovations in employment of people with developmental disabilities, ideas to inspire high performance in working in human services, highlights of the good work of VMRC employees, and the promotion of our career opportunities available at VMRC. We serve children and adults with developmental disabilities in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne counties. Free diagnosis and assessment services are available to any person suspected of having a developmental disability, such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, or autism. To qualify for ongoing support and services, a person must be found to have a developmental disability which began before the age of 18 and is a substantial handicap.
