BeTheSpark is a cultural change campaign, designed to motivate, inspire and celebrate innovation-driven entrepreneurship across the whole of Wales. It is a campaign based on a proven blueprint designed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has a core objective to position innovation driven entrepreneurship as a national imperative to create and nurture more innovative, home grown profitable companies. Wales is a small country, with a busy entrepreneurial ecosystem - so it's important to ensure the landscape is visible, connected and simple for all of us to navigate. BeTheSpark aims to address this and gives everyone the opportunity to join the movement, commit to taking personal action and to affect change in their community. The success of this campaign relies on all of us embracing the opportunity that lies before us. It's not the sole responsibility of one stakeholder or one stakeholder group. We must all work together to generate momentum behind the movement.

Science Park Graz (SPG)

Science Park Graz is a publicly funded institution with the purpose of supporting and promoting the creation of innovative tech-based startups business in Graz and Styria. Science Park Graz is also the home of the ESA Business Incubation Centre in Austria (ESA BIC Austria) and ESA Business Applications Ambassador for Austria (ESA BA Austria). In incubation, and backed up by a network of experts, SPG team supports university graduates, students, researchers and entrepreneurs from all fields by providing professional counselling & coaching, infrastructure and financing during the pre-start-up period. The SPG mentoring programme bundles the expertise incorporated by all Styrian university institutions as well as by successful entrepreneurs in order to equip innovative start-up founders with valuable practical experience along the way to their own companies. DA-IICT Center for Entrepreneurship and Incubation (DCEI)

DCEI started its operation at DA-IICT Gandhinagar from 2010. Officially established in 2011, Gandhinagar to promote innovation and entrepreneurship culture among DAIICT community. This has resulted in seven incubates out of which one is started by faculties and students together. On 15th august, 2015 Hon’ Prime Minister held a campaign for all the young Indians, for innovation and entrepreneurship to boost up start up culture. Gujarat is already known for business savvy state and DAIICT is already a leader in Information and Communication Technology in India. We receive several expression of interest from various parts of India and abroad. ICT plays an important role in the start-up ecosystem in different sectors of business such as finance, e-commerce, synthetic biology, AI, robotics, e-governance etc. Currently in India there are many start-ups, however, only few are innovation based. DA-IICT has strength in research and innovation in interdisciplinary areas, thus it is a natural enabler for economic growth of both Gujarat as well as India.We would like to collaborate with research Universities and incubators by promoting start-ups of faculties and students. There is no better place than DA-IICT to inculcate innovation in high school students, where we plan to invite top notch researchers/innovators/businessmen to DA-IICT to share their knowledge and experience to curious minds.
