30X40 Design Workshop

30X40 Design Workshop is a residential design studio located on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Our primary focus is on residential architecture with a modern bent. Our work is inspired by agricultural structures and industrial materials, simple forms, and design born out of a narrative story. We strive to create simple structures and engaging spaces constructed with high quality materials.

Fein Designs

Fein Designs since 2004 has been designing and renovating homes, preserving and rejuvenating historic properties and making valuable contributions to the community. The firm’s principal Deborah Fein-Brug PA, enjoys working on a diversity of projects from small renovations or additions to new home designs. Another mainstay of the practice is the restoration and preservation of historic buildings, including homes, public properties and places of worship. Memberships and Registrations. Deborah has Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Detroit and a graduate certificate in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Deborah received her registration as an architect in 1991. She is currently licensed in Maryland and Massachusetts, she is an accredited member of the National Council Architects Registration Board (NCARB), a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Construction Specification Institute (CSI). It’s Another Architecture Office aim to create another architecture, an architecture that reacts on the society we live in, revealing its failures, its contradictions and inefficiencies. AAO works as another office, it has an extensive network which makes it flexibly and efficient. AAO work for private clients, as freelance architect for other architecture offices and/or in cooperation with other architects.
