City Heights Town Council

City Heights, San Diego is comprised of 16 unique neighborhoods made up of diverse individuals, families, and businesses. The City Heights Town Council (CHTC) exists to bring neighbors together by aiding in the forward movement and success of all community members. The CHTC meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Mid-City Police Station, 2nd floor, at 4310 Landis Street, San Diego 92105. Everyone is welcome to attend!

RND4IMPACT INC. is a 501(c)(3) scientific research organization that focuses broadly on scientific research and inquiry or which engages in interdisciplinary science activities, offers supervised mentoring programs to improve an individual’s capabilities and knowledge, and promotes the practice of charitable giving and volunteerism through a variety of strategies.

Mission Critical Global Alliance (MCGA)

Business leaders, government, and industry turn to Mission Critical Global Alliance (MCGA) as a trusted resource dedicated to enhancing the resilience of mission critical infrastructure through our expertise in advocacy, skills standards development, education, research, workforce development, and professional certifications. As a nonprofit organization, we coordinate and unify the work of members engaged in the advancement and protection of mission critical operations. We advocate the value and importance of having skilled professionals engaged in these environments. MCGA facilitates the development and dissemination of educational and informational resources intended to cultivate new generations of professionals and to enhance the effectiveness of the existing workforce engaged in securely and safely operating in these environments and protecting the physical and economic security, health, and safety of the public. MCGA facilitates the release of industry standards, guidelines, and services that enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, safety, and security of mission critical operations across institutions, universities, government workforce agencies, foundations, and other private educational training and credentialing providers. Mission Critical Global Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Camp Helping Hands

Our most popular Camp Helping Hands program is our service-learning Summer Camp offered in Thousand Oaks with more locations coming soon! Summer camp is a four-week program that provides fun and educational service-learning opportunities within several different segments of our community: EARTH, PEOPLE, and ANIMALS. Each summer program has an overarching theme, and each week of programming supports that theme and includes service-learning projects, field trips, and presentations. Campers also enjoy arts and crafts, swimming, sports and games, and signing camp songs. Camp Helping Hands also offers Do Good Days service programs for families, schools, and businesses during the nine months leading up to summer camp season. Both our Do Good Days and Summer Camp programs pave the way for young children to get involved in their community by way of service. Participants not only feel good having taken part in something greater than themselves, but seeing the value of their contribution also fosters a sense of purpose, builds self-confidence, and cultivates an empathy and compassion for the world around them.
