Today, Easter Seals continues to offer programs and services to help these children, youth and adults achieve a greater level of acceptance and independence. Quiet Community Tilburg

Quiet wil graag een verschil maken voor zoveel mogelijk mensen in een armoedesituatie. Met behulp van vooral lokale sponsors bieden we onze members regelmatig een gratis dienst, product of verwennerij aan. Dat gebeurt via een innovatief digitaal deelplatform, dat ervoor zorgt dat de aanbiedingen efficiënt en eerlijk verdeeld terecht komen bij de members die er het meest behoefte aan hebben. Op deze manier geven we een signaal: ‘we zien je probleem, voor ons tel je wél mee.' Er wordt door de sponsors en Quiet niet om een tegenprestatie gevraagd. Het vertrouwen dat daaruit spreekt is heel productief. Bij een Quiet Community vinden members houvast om een sociaal isolement te voorkomen of te doorbreken. Zij krijgen alle ruimte om hun (sluimerende) talenten in te zetten. Quiet brengt het armoedeprobleem voortdurend media-breed onder de aandacht om zoveel mogelijk mensen te betrekken bij de verzachting.

Sulabh International Social Service Organisation

Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, a non-profit voluntary social organisation founded in 1970 by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, is dedicated to Gandhian ideology of emancipation of scavengers. Sulabh has been working for the removal of untouchability and social discrimination against scavengers, a section of Indian society condemned to clean and carry human excreta manually. Sulabh is noted for achieving success in the field of cost-effective sanitation, liberation of scavengers, social transformation of society, prevention of environmental pollution and development of non-conventional sources of energy. Environmental friendly two-pit, pour-flush compost toilet known as Sulabh Shauchalaya that is socially acceptable, economically affordable, technologically appropriate and does not require scavengers to clean the pits and implemented in more than 1.2 million houses all over India that has helped liberate over a million scavengers. Construction and maintenance of public toilets at public places and in slums on ‘pay & use basis' is a landmark of Sulabh in the field of sanitation. So far it has constructed and is or maintaining over 8000 such public toilets in India and has constructed 200 biogas plants all over the country. Production of biogas from public toilets and recycling and reuse of effluent through simple and convenient method is the major breakthrough in the field of sanitation and community health.

Routes2Roots

Routes 2 Roots is an NGO that teaches Indian arts & culture through online classes, workshops, and competitions. Since 2016, it has delivered live music and arts education, streamed for free. In fifteen genres, Routes2Roots conducts twelve one-hour interactive classes weekly using its proprietary software and off-the-shelf hardware direct to classrooms. It has reached 22,000 schools impacting 2 million students from the most elite to the humblest municipal school in every district. An yearly in-person workshop in each of these schools complements the online classes. NIIT Foundation

NIIT Foundation (NF) is a not-for-profit education society set up by the promoters of NIIT in 2004. It's mission is to positively impact the underprivileged of the country through educational initiatives and employability skill development programs. To achieve this, NF runs various grassroots initiatives in partnership with other corporates. We set up skill development centres in urban and rural areas that offer placement support to all eligible students. We provide digital and financial literacy programs. We also install Hole-in-the-Wall Learning Stations to bridge the digital divide. In addition, NF supports other NGOs to build their capacity. NF has been delivering projects ranging from customized CSR solutions as per partner requirements, school programs, college collaborations, community initiatives and digital empowerment, which are mandated as per Section 135 of companies act 2013. The projects reach out to a wide range of beneficiaries from the age group of 6 to 60 years olds.
