Bedrijfskundewinkel Nijmegen - BKW

Welkom! De Bedrijfskundewinkel is een consultancybureau dat wordt gerund door een groep enthousiaste en gemotiveerde studenten van de Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen. Hier kan het midden- en kleinbedrijf in de regio Arnhem-Nijmegen kosteloos bedrijfsadvies krijgen. Dit betreft advies over alle aspecten binnen organisaties; zoals organisatiestructuur, marketing, communicatie en strategie. Doordat de studenten verschillende studieachtergronden hebben, komt er een multidisciplinair advies tot stand, wat vaak een compleet nieuw licht kan werpen op een bepaald vraagstuk. Het advies geven wordt vormgegeven d.m.v projecten en brainstormsessies. Projecten worden gedurende meerdere maanden uitgevoerd en resulteren in een eindrapport met daarin een aanbeveling naar de ondernemer. Aan de andere kant zijn onze brainstormsessies een manier om in een kort tijdsbestek vele ideeën en mogelijke antwoorden te genereren. Beide vormen van consultancy worden uitgevoerd aan de hand van een bepaalde vraag/casus/probleem. De missie en visie van de Bedrijfskundewinkel zijn als volgt: Missie: Bedrijfsadvies toegankelijk maken voor alle organisaties door dit laagdrempelig en kosteloos aan te bieden. Visie: Organisaties en studenten vooruithelpen door enerzijds relaties met organisaties aan te gaan d.m.v. hen van hoogstaande adviezen te voorzien en hen te helpen om hun business blijven te verbeteren. Anderzijds wordt de studenten trainingen, praktijkervaring en contacten in het bedrijfsleven meegegeven. De kernwaarden van de Bedrijfskundewinkel luiden als volgt: - Het ondersteunen van de ontwikkeling van organisaties, ongeacht hun grootte - Het centraal stellen van de belangen van de ondernemer - Vooropstellen van het teambelang boven het eigenbelang - Het aantrekken, enthousiasmeren en ontwikkelen van studenten - Professionaliteit in woord en daad - Oog hebben voor het belang van de maatschappij als geheel

Partner Aid International (PAI)

PartnerAid exists to help communities to fight poverty. We are an organisation for development cooperation and development orientated relief. Our mission is to partner with disadvantaged communities, empowering them to implement relief and development projects, recognising culture as a key to their sustainability. PartnerAid supports or directly implements projects with a community focus in less developed countries and regions suffering from complex emergencies. Besides supporting communities through projects and partnerships, we are active in education and training for transformational development, and creating public awareness for communities in poverty. Our History PartnerAid was first established in 1991 in Switzerland and in 1992 in the UK by Christians, who were determined to make an active contribution to overcome poverty in the countries of South- and Central Asia. Today PartnerAid works in more than 10 countries, mainly in Afrika and Asia. The international office is located in Neu-Anspach close to Frankfurt, Germany. Other PartnerAid offices are located in the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK, and the US.

Cross Road Retirement Community

Cross Road Retirement Community is a not-for-profit founded by The Cross Road Baptist Church in 1983. Open to all faiths, Cross Road offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, & Assisted Living Memory Care. Staff are Certified Nursing Assistants who give loving, compassionate care to our residents. We have an RN who serves as Resident Care Director in our Main Center. The Alzheimer's Center also has a Resident Care Director. We are fortunate to have an Activity Director for Independent Living & Assisted Livings. Quality of life is top priority for our residents. We have a deck & fishing pond with a pier, goats, geese, ducks, The General Store, walking trails, & Dream Makers Program. Dream Makers is a program created by Cross Road Retirement Community to make the dreams of our residents come true if possible. A committee meets monthly to discuss resident dreams. Fundraisers are held during the year to support the program. Some of the things that set us apart: - Longevity - Not-for-Porfit - Staff who have been there for 18-29 years - Quality of life programs like Dream Makers - The General Store - RN on staff My mother was in our Alzheimer's Center. I would not have wanted her anywhere else. I can speak as a family member that the staff loved & cared for my mother. She loved them too! Peace of mind is so important to families. Sulabh International Social Service Organisation

Sulabh International Social Service Organisation, a non-profit voluntary social organisation founded in 1970 by Dr. Bindeshwar Pathak, is dedicated to Gandhian ideology of emancipation of scavengers. Sulabh has been working for the removal of untouchability and social discrimination against scavengers, a section of Indian society condemned to clean and carry human excreta manually. Sulabh is noted for achieving success in the field of cost-effective sanitation, liberation of scavengers, social transformation of society, prevention of environmental pollution and development of non-conventional sources of energy. Environmental friendly two-pit, pour-flush compost toilet known as Sulabh Shauchalaya that is socially acceptable, economically affordable, technologically appropriate and does not require scavengers to clean the pits and implemented in more than 1.2 million houses all over India that has helped liberate over a million scavengers. Construction and maintenance of public toilets at public places and in slums on ‘pay & use basis' is a landmark of Sulabh in the field of sanitation. So far it has constructed and is or maintaining over 8000 such public toilets in India and has constructed 200 biogas plants all over the country. Production of biogas from public toilets and recycling and reuse of effluent through simple and convenient method is the major breakthrough in the field of sanitation and community health.
