AOK Learning

aoklearning runs a varied programme of CPD training courses for teachers and delivers professional consultancy services to the education community. aoklearning offers teachers and the teaching profession relevant and perceptive courses to support Continuing Professional Development. Courses in CPD for teachers are presented by acknowledged subject specialists and learning professionals. aoklearning works collaboratively with organisations within the education community providing consultancy on key areas of learning and teaching: assessment techniques, pedagogical styles, curriculum design and eLearning. Internationally, as participants in EU funded programmes, aoklearning consultants are actively engaged in forward looking education projects and initiatives.

Do It Kits

Do It Kits make it easy and fun to teach with new technologies in a hands on way. We believe in learning through making, doing and playing. Do It Kits are classroom kits that make it easy and fun to teach with new technologies. Each kit is a “make”: a hands-on activity that builds skills and allows the student to understand and engage with the curriculum in a deeper way. Do It Kits come with over three hours of lesson plans, worksheets and teacher guidance with up-to-date curriculum links. Do It Kits recently launched with three products: Time to React, Science of Music Guitar and Science of Music Synth.

Entrepreneurs in Action (EiA)

Entrepreneurs in Action, is a company which offers strategic consultancy and delivery of entrepreneurial training programmes across education and leading businesses. EiA has advised executives from the world of business including Waitrose, Aon, TfL, Serco, Virgin Atlantic, the Olympic Delivery Authority, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Croydon and Tameside Councils on innovative talent engagement strategies and entrepreneurial programmes. EiA have also consulted and delivered programmes for the DFES and SSAT on 14-19 and enterprise strategies. EiA works with Independent schools such as Sevenoaks, Hampton School, Surbiton High School, Whitgift, Trinity, Reading Blue Coats, GDST group to deliver high quality EiA programmes. Our mission: Our mission is to inspire young people of all backgrounds and abilities to follow their passions and open their minds to the opportunities available within themselves. Our Results: We have achieved excellent feedback from the participants and clients: • 95% of the participants now have an increased understanding of business enterprise. • 97.7% of the participants had improved their confidence. • 98.4% of the participants found the programmes interesting and would recommend it to others. • The clients are happy with the contents of the programmes and are willing to participate every year. Academic Enrichment Centre is an established and trusted tuition and examination centre that specialises in the tutoring of 11 plus, GCSE and A-Level subjects. We have many years of experience running a variety of courses as well as offering Mock Exams and retake courses. Our teaching is completely adaptable and our staff considers each child individually, we can cater for small groups as well as individual one to one tuition, whatever suits best. We strive to make Academic Enrichment Centre a place to learn, achieve and explore; and to help each and every child reach their full potential. By providing your child with a unique learning environment, and enhancing the skills they require to prepare for the future, we are able to develop your child’s potential. We help them gain confidence, self-reliance and good study habits that will be useful to them for years to come. Alongside this they’ll also obviously learn how to gain the grades they need on their chosen courses. We have dedicated tutors that focus on developing students’ knowledge, enhancing their understanding and boosting their academic skills. We want to give each child the confidence to succeed and we have a great track record of doing so.
