I am a sophomore accounting major at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, originally from Houston, TX. Passionate about finance, business operations, and the principles of accounting, I am committed to continuous learning and professional development.
My expertise includes Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint, and I have earned certifications in Introduction to Excel and Accounting and Financial Statement Analysis, which enhance my ability to integrate accounting methodologies into Excel for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Beyond my coursework, I serve as a tutor for Intro to Business Systems, Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Intermediate Accounting, where I have guided over 30 students using innovative teaching methods. Many of my peers have achieved academic success, earning test and quiz scores between 93 and 100. Through tutoring, I have developed strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others understand complex financial concepts.
Looking ahead, I aspire to obtain my CPA after graduation and pursue a career in audit. I am particularly interested in how audit practices can provide insights into business operations, internal controls, and financial integrity—helping organizations run effectively and mitigate risks.
