As a Director at Valtech I get to work with some really creative and smart people. Together we create services and products for people that really make a difference to their lives on day to day basis, and this is what really motivated me. My teams deliver services for government departments such as DWP, MOJ, DfT, Cabinet Office and NHS, helping digital transformation that really support users, enabling business transformation and realise operational efficiencies. I am accountable for my Delivery Circle P&L targets, growth and capabilities. However, the most rewarding aspect of what I do is supporting and mentoring people working within the delivery circle. Recently we have successfully delivered for private sector organisations such as Slimming World and the National Trust, both of which had been very rewarding for the client and the people they support. We have also recently supported DfT BlueBadge service that we support by identifying areas of innovation to further transform that valuable service for disabled people. We have also worked with NHS Business Services Authority to deliver a number of services for NHS employees to enable self service and by association realise operational efficiencies. As part of this we passed a number of GDS assessments support the business goals and increasing BSA reputation. Previous to this, I worked with DWP helping the CTO establish an Incubator function for DWP service delivery. Again, this was a hugely enjoyable time and I got to work with some innovative and dedicated people.
