With over 20 years of experience in the field of research and education, I am passionate about creating equitable and inclusive research interactions that advance science and society. As the Global Programs Lead for Research Solutions and University Relations at Google, I lead a team that engages with the global research community through programs, events, and collaborative research activities.
In my current role, I leverage my skills in program evaluation, qualitative research, and data analysis to design and implement frameworks that support mutually beneficial research partnerships between Google and academic institutions. I also create inclusive research experiences for marginalized groups, such as women and underrepresented minorities, through professional development, networking, mentorship, and exposure to computing research. Some of the programs I oversee include the Google PhD Fellowship, the Google Award for Inclusion Research, the Google Research Scholar Program, and the Student Researcher Program. Through these programs, my team aims to foster a diverse and vibrant research ecosystem that drives innovation and social impact.
