ACID is a Beirut based design and production firm founded in 1997, providing comprehensive services in the design, manufacturing and implementation of architectural detailing as well as industrial and furniture design projects. It has successfully completed many projects in a wide spectrum of programs and scales.
Our approach to design stems from the importance we attach to the integrity of our finished products while remaining linked to the know-how of our craftsmen whose skills are constantly challenged and brought to new heights.
ACID is always committed to pursuing and perfecting its design sensibility, manufacturing integrity and installation expertise by strengthening exchanges and communication between these three departments.
ACID’s projects range in scale from small creative detailing in private residences and offices to large scale complete structures in the corporate and public domains.
ACID’s work spectrum includes:
- Architectural detailing such as: skylights, sophisticated stair systems, panoramic lifts, canopies, balustrades and building entrances;
- Interior and product design projects including: complex partitions, lighting systems as well as built in and mobile furniture;
- Retail shop fit outs, from wall cladding to integrated displays & shelving as well as free standing furniture implemented all around the world.
ACID’s staff of approximately 170 professionals (Architects, Engineers, Foremen and Craftsmen), has the size, structure and experience to take on highly detailed, small projects as well as larger more complex projects from schematic design to finished product with the same relentless pursuit of quality.
ACID works in collaboration with a sister architecture and design firm: Raed Abillama Architects.
