Held CTIO, Chief Digital Tranformation Officer , CSO, PMO and senior operational / technical roles in various multinational companies including supplier, subcontractor, operator & holding companies. Member of Senior Leadership team in different telecom groups including Orascom , Vimpelcom(Veon) , Telenor , Axiata and currently Ooredoo Group.
•Previous Experience with several telecom markets (Canada, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Pakistan, Bangladesh,Malaysia, Indonesia, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt ).
• CTIO of Indosat Oordeoo and its subsidiaries based in Indonesia
. Chief Technology and Digital Transformation Officer of Axiata OpCo in Bangladesh ( Robi-Axiata). (2017-2019)
•Head of Technology and Projects _South Asia Region covering Axiata Opcos including NetCo , Carrier Collobration, Spectrum/Technology Strategy , Investment and Cost management (2017-2019)
•Managing Grameenphone Network & IT (70 M subs ,800+HC,$250M annual budget) , Telenor OpCo in Bangladesh (2014-2017)
•Managed Djezzy Network ( 18M Subs , 700+ HC & $250+ M annual Budget),Vimpelcom Operation in Algeria ( 2011-2014)
•Develop/Implement Djezzy corporate transformation strategy for (2009 -2011)
•Develop / Execute the 3G launch plan for Djezzy Network
•Managing Orascom 3G Network in DPR of Korea .
•Efficient Capex/Opex management to achieve best in class network performance
•Extensive engineering experience in developing network architecture/technological roadmap for mobile/fixed operators with the most cost effective solutions.
• Extensive operational experience in vendor/performance management for insourced / outsourced projects
•Extensive project management experience in managing mega telecom projects.
•Extensive experience in business development activities / conducting technical due diligence missions for new business opportunities .
•Extensive experience in RFI/RFQ , performing bid evaluation till finalizing vendor selection.
•Strong contract management & negotiation skills’ capabilities.
• Extensive experience in preparing the bid response for several telecom licenses in many countries (Fixed/MNO/MVNO)
•Ability to work decisively under pressure
