About
Once upon a time, I feel in love with Advertising. Years later, as an experienced and adventurous creative leader, I migrated from the art and design world to the business (or “dark side”) of Marketing and Communications, and it was fun! Having a passion for strategy, creative and story-telling, I was swept into big business, dot comms, technology and ultimately, the science of technical real estate. All of this compelled me to take on new challenges and bring my right-brained creative perspective to the worldwide digital marketing landscape, where content was king and metrics ruled. Along this path, my creative acumen and my strategic thinking not only made my work easier, practical and more rewarding - but it still equips me with a unique efficiency and skill set for getting things done.
Since then, I've flourished in a world of engineers, investment leaders, sales and marketing peers, all driven by the win and the bottom line. There’s no time to waste or finish line in sight, and I love learning how things work. Thank goodness I brought my sense of humor and a fresh frame of reference to a left-brained world where SEO and SEM drive ROI aligned with KPIs, rendered in other foreign acronyms across CRE, CRM and B2B environments. I've become multi-lingual in that way.
While I became focused on demand gen, CRM processes and automation technologies, I’ve never given up on The Big Idea, awesome creative, thoughtful communications and good taste. In developing checks and balances for reach, usability, conversions and analytics, I had to maintain the agility to react to global trends across paid and earned media… all with a "social" (media) imperative. These routinely became paired with my inherent responsibilities to drive strategic and tactical results with worldwide teams, and a the promise to deliver customer-centric solutions and glorious satisfaction therein. That's my career story.
In retrospect, this evolution came as second nature, since hospitality (in this case, user experience and responsive communication) is still a social imperative, and friends (to me) are more than just networks to be managed. I get that, and have directed all of the above for premier agencies, publicly-traded REITs and Fortune 500 tech brands, other technology and commercial real estate companies. Collaborative by nature, I embrace the team, the dream, and alignment of marketing and the messages to meet sales and business goals.
