• Instrumental in acquisition of “Funflips” brand of Snacks business.
• Setting up a new team, S&D infrastructure and Plant to take Funflips to greater revenue and make a profitable business for the brand.
• Set up the whole JK Foods business strategy for 2.5x revenue and 3x EBITA targets.
At Metro Cash and Carry
Handled responsibility of Director Expansion Metro to expand footprint across India into various tier 1,2 towns.
Earlier Handled the responsibility Director Operations handling 24 stores and large teams of more than 4000 employees and turnover of more than 5000 Cr pa.
Strong skill sets of people management, inventory management and basic store operations.
At Metro also built an organisation of over 200 sales people from scratch as All India Sales Head and leading the growth charge for the organisation and leading the sales development for the organisation.
At Subhiskha got a rich experience in Project management and business management in a start up scenario. The experience of building a new organisation from scratch and running a business with 150 stores was invaluable and taught skills of Legal framework, business planning and development and P&L management.
Experience with leading FMCG player, Marico, gave a very rich exposure to Sales and Channel management across various geographies of East and West India. Fast track promotion to Regional Head position with in 6 years.
A unique experience of FMCG sales and Operations in Retail at senior position gives very specific skill sets and insights into customer both at distribution channel and end consumer level.
Overall a strong strategic role at both Metro cash and carry and Subhiksha have given a very good experience into business management and retail sector.
