I am a recent graduate of the post-graduate journalism program at Humber College, where I learned the skills and tools to produce engaging and informative content for various platforms and audiences. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Toronto Metropolitan University, which gives me a unique perspective on social issues and current events.
At CBC Kids News, I was responsible for researching topics and chasing experts and kids for articles, as well as running email correspondence, writing greens, and pre-interviewing guests. I supported my producers, writers, and associate producers with any research and chasing tasks, and contributed to the ideation of text, video, and social journalism.
I am passionate about creating content that is relevant, accessible, and inclusive for audiences of any age, which reflects the diversity and values of our society.
