Hi, I'm Kyle! I am in the Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences Co-op program at McMaster University, specializing in Software Engineering. I have a strong love for learning and I am always willing to take on a challenge!
This past summer I had the incredible opportunity to work at Gradient Ascent, a mission-driven AI specialist company, and learned so much about the world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I loved being able to work with Microsoft's new and cutting edge Llama-2, LangChain, and vector databases to query documents in an end-to-end pipeline on Microsoft ML Studio. Furthermore, I deployed machine learning models on a server, hosted by a Google Cloud VM, and queried them using POST requests with token authentication.
Additionally, I have experience in Java, Python, and C# from school and personal projects, including make a meal planner app using C# for my mom. I have also worked with tools for various data processes such as many applications from Microsoft Azure (eg. Pipelines, Synpase, etc.), TIBCO Spotfire for data visualization, and Microsoft Power BI. I have developed strong leadership and interpersonal skills from my job as a math tutor as well as working in the Longos grocery chain.
