About
With over 12 years of experience in data and database administration, I am a passionate and skilled leader in the field of data and cloud solutions. I currently work as a principal data engineer at Greenwood, a fintech company that provides banking services for Black and Latino communities. In this role, I design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and solutions using AWS, PostgreSQL, ETL, and Snowflake. I also collaborate with product marketing managers, risk and compliance analysts, and executives to deliver data-driven insights and solutions that support Greenwood's mission and vision using Excel and Tableau for data visualizations.
Previously, I was an engineering manager and a technical lead at Greenlight, a company that offers debit cards for kids and teens. There, I managed and mentored a team of highly successful database administrators, and oversaw the development, maintenance, and security of the database systems. I also contributed to the improvement of the data quality, performance, and reliability, and enabled the scalability and growth of the platform.
