I'm head of people for LunaJoy, a virtual mental health start-up focusing on women's mental health. I aim to ensure that the people I work with feel supported in their positions. I thrive in a positive atmosphere and make a point to show appreciation for my teammates. I enjoy a challenge and am quick with solutions and workarounds. As head of people, I recruit, screen, and onboard clinicians. I ensure I'm available to help them with anything they need. It's important to me that I create an atmosphere where clinicians can treat their patients and do minimal administrative work. If a clinician needs something, they are comfortable coming to me, and if I don't have the answer, I'll get it for them.
I enjoy supporting the CEO/COOs I work with. I like partnering with people to get the job done. I can set up the software, phone systems, billing, sales campaigns, company policies, and anything else thrown my way. I have complete confidence in my abilities. I'd say I'm gritty and will always look for answers on my own. I love working at start-ups because it gives me a chance to think B-I-G.
