With a career spanning roles such as a Fragrance Evaluator at IFF and a Product Development and Retail Trainer at Neal's Yard Remedies, my journey through the beauty and fragrance industry has been diverse and rich with experience. As the Managing Director of a varied retail business from 2003 to 2018, I gained substantial insights into business and retail management.
I am the author of 'A Green Guide To Natural Beauty' (Cico, 2011) and 'Perfume - the Art and Craft of Fragrance' (2013), which embody my passion for natural beauty and scent.
Currently, I dedicate myself to teaching perfumery online and from my Scent Studio in The New Forest, UK. My courses aim to simplify the intricacies of fragrance creation, catering to both personal enthusiasts and aspiring business owners. Additionally, my writings often explore the intersection of scent and well-being, reflecting my commitment to a transparent, practical approach in the realms of fragrance and business training.
I also host The Perfume Making Podcast, where I share insights into scent creation and its role in wellbeing. My writings and teachings combine my extensive industry experience with a commitment to transparency and honesty, providing a practical, no-fluff guide to the world of fragrance.
