About
As an accredited Art Therapist, Yoga Teacher and Facilitator of the Global Living Values Education Program, I am passionate about using art therapy and movement as a tool to create a therapeutic environment for individuals to open and share through creative & expressive mediums, which are non intrusive and respectful of personal boundaries. I strive to role model the importance of emotional expression, creativity, movement, authenticity and healing, whist offering life-enhancing tools to create self-awareness and growth. My goal is to share the experience of art & movement therapy, and yoga for the benefit of others and allow for the freedom of expression.
ART therapy is a creative tool to help individuals open up and express themselves freely, in a therapeutic space. ART Therapy creates more self awareness and growth into emotional blockages that keep you stuck in the same cycle, limiting you from living the life you desire. It provides a creative outlet for individuals – a way to express thoughts and emotions too difficult to put into words. ART therapy focuses on expressing your emotions through; art, images, colours, shapes, body awareness, play, story telling, creative writing, movement, sounds, breath work and meditation.
