Jeffrey Maron is a Managing Director at 7RIDGE, a global private markets asset manager focused on private equity growth investment in transformative technology for the financial services ecostructure. Prior to that, he was the Global Head of Product for Compagnie Financiere Tradition's TraditionData, where he led product creation, development, and go-to-market strategy across Rates, FX, Fixed Income, and Energy. Prior to this he was managing director at IHS Markit, responsible for expanding MarkitSERV through new product development via industry partnerships and acquisitions/investments/spin offs. Prior to joining Markit in 2012, he was the global head of administration for eCommerce at GFI and before that the head of trading systems, North America. Before joining GFI in 2006, he created and headed the exchange division at SuperDerivatives beginning in 2005 and prior to that he was chief content officer at Moneyline Telerate and a managing director at ICAP. He began his career trading money markets, futures and OTC derivatives at Sumitomo Bank before running the interest rates swap desk at NCB NY. Jeff earned his bachelor degree from Skidmore College (where he is now a Trustee) and attended Sophia University in Tokyo.
