Three years of retail and supply chain experience, with a focus on demand planning and Supermarket Retail operation. While maximizing the organization's profitability and meeting the needs and wants of modern trade customers, Obtained and exposed to international and local brands from a variety of scales of suppliers.
As a graduate in Logistics & Transports, I have extensive knowledge in business aspects such as ;marketing, supply chain and administration which led me to execute my duties and responsibilities more efficiently and effectively.
I have been working as a demand planner at Keells since October 2021 ,Planning and managing the entire supply chain related tasks in order to achieve the major KPI s including preparing short term and long-term plans to facilitate product availability by continuous engagement with suppliers and optimized procurement and continuous order follow up until products are delivered to the shelves. And also negotiations with suppliers and taking ownership to resolve bottleneck issues arising at the operational level.
I worked as a Category Assistant at Richard Pieris Distributors from March 2020 to September 2021. There I have become familiar with handling sales management, procurement, team work, flexibility and leadership skills.
