About
As Vice President of Corporate Affairs, I lead the Sustainability, Government Affairs and Corporate Communications strategy for one of the largest healthcare services providers in Asia and its 12,000 employees.
Since 2020, Zuellig Pharma has become the first and only logistics company worldwide to achieve EcoVadis Platinum certification, carbon target approval by SBTi in alignment with the 1.5-degree ambition and industry leading CDP scores in climate change and supplier engagement. This is the level of world-class ESG excellence we commit to deliver to our healthcare clients and employees.
The decarbonization of our global supply chain operations has already led to a 38% reduction in our carbon footprint in both direct and indirect emissions - 178,000 tons of carbon equivalent to 3 million tree seedlings planted and grown for ten years. Our cross-functional environmental programs include cost-efficient roadmaps to renewable energy (38% of RE by 2022), waste reduction and circularity programs (20% reduction in waste), development of green solutions (360,000 single-use Styrofoam boxes avoided every year thanks to the eZCooler packaging solution) and the greening of our delivery fleet (6 EV pilots across the region).
Our ESG impacts expand beyond environmental management, ranging across DEI (gender pay gap reduced below 0.2%, versus 18% average in the region), health programs (over 70m patients benefiting from access, awareness and immunization programs), social impact (affordability programs amounting to a 100 million dollars in discounts and redemptions) and public policy shaping (31 collaborations with Governments to guide and shape regulatory landscapes for a healthier future).
In 2021 our Regional Government Affairs function was launched, yielding today unprecedented reputational, strategic and commercial opportunities through stakeholder engagement, company representation and government contract negotiation.
With over 15 years of P&L Management experience in the pharmaceutical and logistics sectors, I have developed a strong expertise in talent development, financial management and business development. Through a mix of commercial, functional and entrepreneurial experiences, I have acquired experience in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, procurement and investors relations.
