I am an experienced software engineering leader with broad experience in all aspects of software development including:

As an engineering leader, I have experience managing managers (total org size of 25) and managing multiple teams of 8+ individuals. I've helped grow an engineering team by 50% to meet scaling business demand. In early-stage organizations, I have worked with customers, internal stakeholders, and team members to design software from prototypes to products generating $1M+ ARR.
As a senior technical contributor, I have contributed to requirements gathering, planning, architecture, development, testing, database design, and technical documentation for large scale payment systems.
I have designed and delivered solutions in a variety of different languages and frameworks, most recently using Ruby/Rails and Elixir. I have well-rounded experience beyond the web including client/server (TCP/IP), messaging systems, batch processing, and hardware integration. I have served as an agile team lead while contributing in a full-stack capacity.
