Hey! My name is Jamie ◡̈
I received my Bachelor's degree of Science in Kinesiology with a Minor in Psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2021. I graduated from Augusta University in May 2023 with a Master's degree in Health Science in Occupational Therapy. Throughout my life, I have dreamt of having a career in the healthcare industry. I have a fascination with the intricacies of health care, as well as a strong desire to serve others. I am eager to assist individuals in living meaningful lives by promoting functional performance, minimizing discomfort, and enhancing physical and mental health. I love the holistic approach and close interaction occupational therapists have with their clients and I am confident this profession will provide me with fulfilling work every day.
Aside from being passionate about my career path, I also love reading, taking my dog for walks, and spending time with loved ones. I am a strong advocate for self-care, so I place a high value on spending time doing things that make me feel at peace, like yoga. My continued participation in the community through various organizations and volunteer opportunities is very important to me.
I hope that after reading through my profile, it is evident how committed I am to being a skilled and caring therapist. I am happy to announce that I have passed the NBCOT and received my license to practice in Georgia. I am looking forward to beginning my career!
