My name is Jacqueline Valadez. As a newly graduate I am seeking for opportunities to apply the various skills I have gained from rigorous education, self employment and, work experiences. My goal is to obtain an entry level business administrative or financing position based in Southern California.
- Self Employment teaches Self reliance
While being self employed I have gained first hand experience of running a small business. Being able to have a small business taught me the various roles that help run a company by being my own customer service rep, accountant, marketer and, buyer. Running my small business I hold myself accountable for mistakes committed and luckily I learn from them. Since starting my small business I have been able to pay for my education and other necessary needs but it has taught me that there is way more that I need to learn.
- Working for other businesses prepared me for real life challenges
Being in the work force is tough work and I learned that during my time in retail and in the food industry. Having to deal with customers in person and provide them proficient customer service skills is something I learned during my time in both industries. Dealing with other people's money taught me to be diligent.
- Rigorous Education has prepared me for the coming challenges
In the college world, the courses and competition are strict, and so provides a model for business success. Through college I have and am continuing to develop critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize. I look forward to once receiving my bachelors in Business Administration that it will have given me a strong base.
- Adding in Today's Business Field
Self reliant and life time learner, I am eager to commence on a career where future employers can rely on me to deliver my best efforts for their businesses and institutions.
