Studied bio sciences at university but for various reasons didn’t pursue a career in chosen degree subject, instead joining Finnies in London and trained to become a Chartered Accountant, not really something that was planned in all honesty. However, that opened up the opportunity to join Hazlewood Foods in a central finance role. Several roles and moves since then has seen me rejoin Pilgrims Uk in early 2019 - my second tour of duty with the company. The food processing industry is fast paced, interesting, challenging and rewarding usually in the same day. The knowledge and skills you acquire in the food industry are many and varied plus the JBS family of companies of which we are now part of, brings a new culture and strong values to our business which is rapidly changing it for the better. The food processing industry is tough, but I have never regretted being a part of it.
