🌟 I am a highly ambitious, creative first-generation Sociology student at Trent University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a co-op option.
As a first-generation student, I’m deeply interested in how social systems affect communities, and how advocacy, research, and public engagement can create meaningful change.
Since my relocation to Peterborough three years ago, I wanted to utilize my passion for art and social advocacy. Thus, I’ve since gained hands-on experience through volunteer roles in event coordination, elder care, and community support. These experiences have shaped my interest in social research and reinforced my dedication to addressing inequality from both micro and macro perspectives.
🎯 My goal is to find a role within an organization where I can grow my career, enhance my skills, and, most importantly, improve the experiences of others by providing support where it’s needed. I’m particularly passionate about student support, community engagement, and social advocacy — creating inclusive environments, building meaningful relationships and contributing to meaningful projects that foster growth and well-being.
