It all started with a piece of cloth. Tied at the waist as a basic protection against the natural elements. As time unfurled, this piece of cloth was spun in a 1000 ways , woven in a 1000 more and draped in a 1000 more giving birth to one of the oldest garments alive today, in the closet of every Indian woman , anywhere in the world- the saree.
The single garment made today that lasts for generations can be a truly sustainable way , if revived in its original form and glory, to clothe the world and that sheer thought is what made me start up on my own!
