I’m a Master of Public Health candidate at Mercer University (graduating May 2025) with a strong academic foundation in Biomedical Sciences and a diverse range of hands-on experience in healthcare, data analysis, and public health programming. I’m passionate about improving health outcomes through well-coordinated, patient-centered programs, especially those serving underserved or high-need communities.
My professional journey has taken me from the front lines of clinical care as a Medical Assistant and Front Office Specialist to behind-the-scenes roles like my Data Analyst Internship in epidemiology, where I supported data-driven decision-making for community health strategies. As a Teacher's Assistant, Tutor and Substitute Teacher, I’ve honed my communication, leadership, and adaptability skills, crucial for coordinating multidisciplinary teams and engaging diverse populations.
I’ve also had the opportunity to volunteer with the WIC & Nutrition division at my local health department, further deepening my understanding of maternal and child health, food security, and health equity.
As I prepare to delve deeper into my future career pursuits, I’m seeking opportunities in healthcare and clinical settings where I can support research, program evaluation, program coordination, patient outreach, experience evaluation, or community engagement. My goal is to contribute to initiatives that improve access to care and health outcomes, especially for vulnerable populations.
