About
As a graduate of Ringling College of Art and Design, with a major in film and a minor in photography, I have spent the last four years studying the ins and outs of film production with hands-on experience in pre-production, production, and post-production. I have written and produced several short films, along with being the cinematographer for other directors and my own projects. I have found my place in screenwriting, directing, and producing where I love to be a part of projects from start to finish to ensure they are done in a professional way and foster creativity from my peers.
I have most recently directed "Holding Back", a short film that I wrote, where I also supervised the post-production process, keeping the video editor, sound designer, and composer in communication. I supported their expressions of creativity and thoughts about the project during the post-process. I have also enjoyed assistant directing on the short films; "Your Dad’s Greatest Nightmare" and "Empowered by Nature".
I enjoy the collaborative nature of filmmaking and I keep an open mind to new ideas and suggestions that may arise from my colleagues. To me, the most important factor in any film is a strong story. Once there is a sturdy foundation, there are a plethora of ways to build on it.
