Aashayein- The Life Saviours",founded in 2003 at JECRC Foundation. Guided by the visionary principles of eminent personalities such as Nobel Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, Padma Bhushan Dr. D.R Mehta, Mr. N.K. Choudhary, and Ramon Magsaysay Awardee Anshu Gupta, Aashayein is committed to fostering a culture of social responsibility, and after that, also started in JECRC University in 2017.
Aashayein stands as the epitome of this commitment from our students. The initiative strives to address the escalating need for blood and SDP in Jaipur and beyond. Since its inception, Aashayein has organized blood donation camps, starting in 2003 with the collection of 23 units. Today, we proudly announce the achievement of a milestone: 1727 units of blood collected in the 2023 blood donation camp.
In our ongoing efforts, we pledge to continue playing our part in society's well-being, ensuring a sustainable contribution to the healthcare needs of our community.
Team Aashayein is working 24x7 to provide all the necessary help to people suffering from dengue, cancer, thalassemia and blood related diseases.
We have collaboration with different hospitals & blood banks; in case of any SDPs or blood requirements, they can contact our coordinators.
Our database consists of contact details for 1,437 active donors, and this number is increasing day by day. As of today, we have recorded 20,594 blood donations and 2,430 SDP donations and are still counting.
