I'm the CMO for ELISA - an award-winning live shopping solution that's revolutionizing the E-commerce industry by introducing a powerful new way to drive jaw-dropping sales and build lasting brand communities.
Before joining the ELISA family, I was the CMO for what is arguably one of the world's most forward-thinking, deep tech companies, SynergyXR. Before that, I was a Global Marketing Lead for Airbnb as well as the former CMO for the Danish startup, Gaest.com, which was acquired by Airbnb in January 2019 - only three years after its inception.
Backstory
Born and raised in Soso, Mississippi, my professional journey began at the ripe young age of 17 when I decided to spread my wings and join the U.S. Navy. I spent the following five years working in the field of meteorology and oceanography plus traveling the world - which landed me in Denmark. After a short stint at Mærsk Logistics, I decided to change directions and returned to school to study marketing and management communications.
Shortly before graduating, I was headhunted to help create a new alumni relations department for my alma mater (Aarhus BSS) and over the course of 11 years, built what is arguably the most innovative alumni relations program in Denmark, which now totals nearly 100,000 members.
