Having relocated from South Africa in 2017 I was appointed as Factory Manager at Graham's Bakery based in Dromore, Northern Ireland where I controlled the day to day production.
With over 27 years experience in Change Management in South Africa and the UK, I have extensive knowledge of the Industrial Bakery sector and high care food production facilities including research and development of new products.
I thrive on improving and growing challenging production facilities, managing up to 300 employees. Analytical in my approach, continually furthering my studies through CIMA in Management Accounting with particular focus on the internal management of production that is key to improving efficiency and exceeding KPI targets including compiling, forecasting and managing monthly budgets.
A firm believer in training and developing people from factory workers to managers by growing and strengthening their skills base, succession planning and leading by example with a “Hands On" approach to management and training of health and safety, production processes, resource planning, procurement and minimizing shrinkage and wastage.
