About
As a Value Engineer, I help Home Depot optimize its product value proposition and cost efficiency by leveraging Data Analysis. I use Excel, Product Costing Tools, Data Wrangling and Tableau to generate customer insights, product insights, and competitor and market insights that support the Merchandising, Sourcing and Product Development Teams of one of the largest retailers in the world. My problem-solving and collaboration skills have enabled me to deliver data-driven solutions across various functions in the organization.
During my tenure at QuEST Global, I had the opportunity to serve General Electric in a range of capacities spanning different divisions such as Power Electronics, Healthcare, Measurements and Control, Oil and Gas. My primary responsibility was to lead the Product Costing efforts for various product lines based on the manufacturing process and geographies. Followed by identifying potential Suppliers, establishing communication with them, and sending out a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and further analysis and rationalising the received RFQs to make an informed decision. I was instrumental in building robust product cost models and interactive dashboards that have enabled process improvement or process elimination in some cases and made the business more efficient.
I hold a Master's degree in Computer-Integrated-Manufacturing and I'm pursuing a course in Data Science and Machine Learning. I'm passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to solve real-world problems.
