Ashwin who is currently the Head of Data & AI - India & Middle East at Thoughtworks, is a visionary Data and Analytics leader with two decades of overall experience out of which he has spent the last decade in helping organizations incubate and scale Data & AI practices.
Ashwin excels in early identification of technology trends and applying them to solve critical business problems like (Leveraging Gen AI techniques to uberize staffing at scale, Delivered Recommender Systems for Life Sciences companies to deliver personalised therapeutics using ensemble of models, Delivered Behavioral Demand Response programs and Grid Modernization Programs using Cloud Data Platform to help Utilities become Carbon Neutral, Delivered Data Marketplaces to enable Citizen Data Scientists to explore new ways of Oil Exploration,Leverage Deep Packet Inspection technology and Big Data Technologies to help Telco’s monetize their Data assets) to name a few key ones.
Over the last couple of years Ashwin has helped enterprises truly democratize Data by leveraging the Data Mesh paradigm and introduced them to the concept of CD4ML to ensure enterprises are able to leverage AI at scale in a responsible manner.
Leadership Journey:
•Built a 200+ people strong Data & AI strategy, consulting & seed team practice for Thoughtworks serving clients globally in the areas of Data & AI Strategy. Data Governance, Scaling AI & Data Mesh.
•Established and Run a $ 67 M Practices growing at Average Growth Rate of 23% in Data & Analytics for Infosys Services, Utilities, Resources & Energy customers. Conduct Consultative Sales workshops with Customers to guide them on their journey from being Data Driven to becoming a Data Economy.
•Prior to that established and managed the MDM & Big Data Practice for Infosys APAC Customers which was a $35 M Practice growing at a yearly average of 15% between Apr 2011 to Mar 2016.
•Ran the Amdocs Clarify CRM practice for Infosys High-Tech customers which was a $ 12 M practice growing at a yearly average of 10% between Apr 2009 to Mar 2011.
•Program Managed the Largest Amdocs Clarify Transformational Program for Infosys @ BT between Dec 2005 to Mar 2009.
•Prior to this played multiple roles in Satyam Computers key one being consulting with CDC,US on many Public Health Programs.
