I am a wide spectrum first-generation lawyer, and my primary practice area is 'Corporate and Commercial'- with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions, general corporate, media and entertainment, private equity and securities laws.
I regularly advise on assignments pertaining to: (a) corporate advisory; (b) drafting and negotiating definitive agreements (SSA, SHA, SPA, JVA, BTA, ATA) ; (c) incorporation related activities of LLP’s to be set-up in India; (d) issuance of legal opinion(s); and (e) conducting of (legal) due-diligence exercises (and drafting of definitive agreements), for the purpose of acquisition of, or investment into, companies and LLP's in India, across an array of sectors, which include but are not limited to: (i) healthcare; (ii) manufacturing; (iii) construction; (iv) aviation; (v) hospitality; (vi) technology/IT; and (vii) media and entertainment sector.
I have also advised various Indian listed companies on securities laws and corporate governance issues.
I have worked and trained with some of the leading national and international law firms, and noted legal members of the Bar. Besides my work, I regularly publish articles and write research papers on various aspects of law and society.
