As a Research Technologist I at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), I have been involved in various projects related to protein expression and purification, using advanced techniques such as CRISPR and nanotechnology. I have also contributed to the development and implementation of quality management systems and protocols for the research lab, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
My passion for biomedical research stems from my academic background, where I obtained a Master of Biotechnology (Biomedical) degree from University of Adelaide, and a Bachelor of Medical Science degree from University of Canberra. I have also completed several courses and certifications to enhance my skills and knowledge in areas such as data science, digital transformation, and gene-editing applications. Additionally, I have volunteered as a monitor and mentor for students at both universities, helping them with various subjects and research projects.
I pride myself on my professionalism, communication, and collaboration skills, which I have demonstrated in my work and education settings. I have regularly achieved and exceeded targets and work goals, as well as established and maintained positive relationships with colleagues, team members, and stakeholders. I am eager to learn new things, adapt to changing environments, and solve complex problems. I am looking for opportunities to further develop my career and apply my skills and expertise in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries.
