About
Hi! I’m a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo with a passion for mechanical systems, hands-on design, materials engineering and learning new things. I’ve gained hands-on experience in heavy fabrication environments through co-op placements, where I supported weld procedure development, reading technical drawings, and assisting in quality assurance tasks.
At school, I am also a Mechanical Lead for WATurbine, a student design team focused on creating a small-scale wind turbine. I lead meetings that focus on the integration of the mechanical system with the aero, structural, and electrical subteam components. I work closely with teammates to bring our ideas from concept to prototype. This opportunity has been a great way to grow my leadership, technical design and collaboration skills while contributing to a real-world engineering challenge.
I enjoy working with tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ANSYS, Python and MATLAB, and I am especially drawn to projects that involve mechanical design, testing, and a foundation in sustainability. Whether I'm on co-op, in class, or working on personal projects, I love learning and solving problems.
