Akshay is currently working as a Vice President, Liquidity Risk at Goldman Sachs. He is managing the second line review of the liquidity risk from trading book business of the firm globally. He is also involved in ALM FTP review of the first line in accordance with SR 16-3 requirements.
Prior to this, he was working as a Manager, Consulting in the Financial Risk Advisory practice at Ernst & Young.He worked with global investment banks, consulting on various regulations on financial risk (market and credit risk).
Prior to this he was working as a Consultant in the Capital Markets practice at Cognizant Business Consulting and as a Risk Analyst at Credit Suisse.
He holds an Engineering degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani and an MBA in Finance from IIM Indore.
