Sophisti

Sophisti is a connected product design studio. In our work we connect physical objects and digital media by combining skills from industrial and interaction design, software and electronics development. We design and develop from idea to prototype to product. Sophisti works for big clients like Philips, LEGO, Heineken and NXP, but also for startups like Minibrew, Ikawa and Styleshoots. For these clients we have designed and developed app enhanced products like a coffee roaster, a beer-brewing machine and a fashion photography studio. We develop our own ideas as well which have been featured in numerous media-outlets For example Gamechanger an interactive game board bringing millennial families around the table or Ping (winner of Core77 Award) bridging distances between loved ones with a bed lamp. A recent example is Ding (also Core77 Award( a set of blocks to enhance interactivity and electronics in creative sessions. Sophisti was founded in 2007 and is based in downtown Amsterdam where we currently work with a team of 6 designers and developers. Naast een sterke hang naar print en typografie, schept Bureau Merkwaardig veel genoegen in het bedenken van heldere digitale structuren en het ontwikkelen van een passende online identiteit. Uitgedacht en ontworpen vanuit oprechte interesse, rust en kunde. 14over opereert binnen een netwerk van freelancers. Per project wordt het meest optimale plan opgesteld.

DSGND [dih-zahynd] is een design bureau gespecialiseerd in branding en packaging design. DSGND is een "hands-on"​ bureau met brede ervaring in packaging en brand design. Naast packaging design leveren wij ook diensten zoals; web design, identity, art direction en graphic design. Wij blijven weg bij mooi of lelijk discussies, maar beoordelen werk of het "aansluit" bij onze opdrachtgever, consument en merk. At DSGND it's not only about design, but merely to pursue its goal. Design only becomes relevant, if it answers a question. Subjective opinions if something is beautiful or ugly, is not to us. We judge work if it "connects"​ to our client, consumer or brand.

Architecture of Cure

Architecture of Cure is a platform that is researching the effect of stress on mental and physical health and exploring the ways in which design, architecture, and nature can positively impact people within specific environments. By delving into various mediums such as film, product design, and writing, Architecture of Cure is able to offer unique angles in which complex topics can be discussed, rethought, and where attempts at solutions can be made. We believe in the value of nature and design to create sustainable healing environments.
