Community Housing Industry Association NSW

Community Housing Industry Association NSW (CHIA NSW) is the peak industry group for community housing in NSW. We represent our members managing over 54,000 properties – the largest community housing industry sector in Australia. CHIA NSW also has Associate members representing individuals and organisations with an interest in community housing. CHIA NSW works to build a sustainable and flourishing industry able to deliver the best outcomes for the tenants and communities it works with. We also advocate with local, state and federal governments for more social and affordable housing for people on lower incomes in NSW. CHIA NSW is affiliated to the Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA), the national peak body that represents the industry in Australia, and we work with community housing peak bodies in other jurisdictions to collectively support the industry to grow and operate effectively.

United Efforts

"MAKE EDUCATION WORK ME" was the clarion call of students that became the mission of United Efforts. We are on a mission to empower and equip students to become the architects of their own future. United Efforts(UE) is a Section 8 non-profit working to connect the dots between education and profession for those from economically weaker socio-economic backgrounds. Learning from 10,000+ students over the last 4 years we have learnt that students want to make informed decisions for their future based on their interest and ability. Based on our learnings from students we have developed a structured program of 100 hours spread over classes 8th to 10th to 1. Expose students to 18 different sectors 2. Build their agency to face all odds and acheive their professional goals 3. Prepare their own career roadmaps to gain entry into sectors of choice and ability

Seaside Sustainability (nonprofit)

Seaside Sustainability is a nationally recognized, award-winning 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to community engagement, education and environmental conservation. Seaside Sustainability’s mission is to protect and restore our oceans by educating people of all ages about the critical issues that threaten our environment; promoting best practices for sustainability; and inspiring meaningful advocacy and hands-on action. Seaside Sustainability works with schools, cities and towns, environmental groups, technology companies, and individuals. Together, we strive to ensure the healthy future of oceans, rivers, wetlands, and estuaries around the world. Seaside Sustainability aims to be a leader in environmental and STEM education programs and recognition initiatives by promoting public awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability, providing resources to develop problem-solving skills, and chances to get engaged as part of a community to take action. Our work provides project-based learning, meaningful internships for students, and volunteer opportunities for people of all ages. Our unique internship program engages hundreds of high school and college students around the world in meaningful hands-on study, giving them training to become the future leaders in the stewardship of our planet.

Médecins du Monde

Médecins du Monde, association médicale militante de solidarité internationale, s'engage depuis plus de 30 ans à soigner les populations les plus vulnérables ici et là-bas, à témoigner des entraves constatées quant à l'accès aux soins, à obtenir des améliorations durables des politiques de santé pour tous. Association indépendante nous agissons au-delà du soin en dénonçant les atteintes à la dignité et aux droits humains et en nous battant pour améliorer la situation des populations précaires. For more than 30 years, Médecins du Monde, a campaigning medical organisation committed to international solidarity, has been caring for the most vulnerable populations at home and abroad. It has continued to highlight obstacles that exist in accessing health care and has secured sustainable improvements in health-for-all policies. Those working for this independent organisation do not solely dispense care and treatment but condemn violations of human dignity and rights and fight to improve matters for populations living in precarious situations. MdM currently works in 40 countries across all continents where it focuses on 4 priority areas: caring for the health of migrants and displaced persons, promoting sexual and reproductive health, combating HIV and reducing the harm and risks associated with drug use, crises and conflicts.
