Hunger Mountain Co-op

Hunger Mountain Co-op, located at 623 Stone Cutters Way in Montpelier, Vermont, is a member-owned, community-based food co-op. We are committed to building dynamic a community of healthy individuals, sustainable local food systems, and thriving cooperative commerce. Hunger Mountain Co-op currently has over 8,000 Member-Owners, carries over 2,000 local products, and employs 165 employees all earning at least the Vermont Livable Wage. Our Co-op is also proudly one of three state designated Vermont Green Grocery Environmental Leaders and a recent recipient of a Sustainability Star from National Co+op Grocers. Contributing to our community is a core value at Hunger Mountain Co-op. Our Co-op hosts year-round community workshops and events and also supports area schools, local projects, nonprofits, and initiatives that align with the co-op's mission.

SNOWIE ICE is a shaved ice and ice cream company. What really sets SNOWIE apart is our patented self serve technology. 10 flavors that YOU can apply yourself!! Or choose from over 50 custom flavors we can create for you! Our sound system pumps out your choice of music that will have your party jumping. SNOWIE is way more than shaved ice, it's a total taste, sight and sound experience. We do all the work so you don't have to find another volunteer to man the machine. Just tell us where to set up and who to write the check to. Really – it's that simple. SNOWIE will partner with your organization, league or school to sell shaved ice and ice cream and return a generous portion of the proceeds. We have several different fundraising programs. SNOWIE helped raise more than $15,000 last year and we are on track to exceed that this season!

Carlyle Grill

Comfort is the theme at this relaxed, friendly restaurant, where the menu runs to familiar, home-style dishes with top-notch regional ingredients. Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, which is colorful and attractive, yet understated with mahogany accents, large flagstone columns in the main dining room. During the warm seasons, take advantage of the two open air dining areas surrounding the restaurant. There is also a separate space for large reservations or private parties.
