/ken/ n. one's range of knowledge or sight Native Ken is a New York based eyewear company that couples innovative design with optical expertise and wellness. Established in 2010, Native Ken eyewear offers a finely curated selection of eyewear, in both optical and sunglasses, at its flagship boutique in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Taking inspiration from the definition of "Ken" — one's range of knowledge or sight — the company is dedicated to manufacturing superior eyewear and providing progressive optical education and care to each and every client. Designed in New York City, Native Ken introduced their first eyewear collection in Spring 2017. The Native Ken eyewear collection draws inspiration from timeless mid-century styles through a distinctly New York lens.

The Vellum Page is ready to revive the art of making amusing books! Illuminated Manuscripts XXI is ready to revive the ancient art of Illuminated Manuscript bookmaking. Illuminated Manuscripts have, throughout the ages, been held as treasures comparable to the finest works of art. Those that survive are proudly kept in libraries, museums, and private collections. The most splendid among them were collaborative enterprises involving exceptional artists who found their skills continually challenged by the array of crafts and media required to produce them: parchment, ink and pigment-making, bookbinding, calligraphy, gilding, drawing, and the use of precious stones. With the advent of the Gutenberg press, however, the art of making these astonishing Manuscripts disappeared. We have assembled a world-class team of artists and scholars to bring this unique process back to life by employing the original materials and techniques of ancient times to reproduce Medieval manuscript facsimiles on real lambskin vellum. 1. The company was established in 1956 by Albert Meisenzahl whose main business was sharpening and repairing hand and power reels. In 1969, his son, Peter Meisenzahl and his wife Annette took over. By then, we were repairing and selling rotary lawn mowers and chainsaws. Presently, their grandson Jason is overseeing the business as Peter and Annette practice retirement, while Titus has grown into repairing and selling all forms of outdoor power equipment. Operating as a fourth generation family business, Titus Mower is proud to have served the greater Rochester area for over 50 years.
