hanratharchitect is een flexibel allround architectenbureau voor interieur- en exterieuropdrachten. Door strategische samenwerking met andere bureaus en bedrijven heeft hanratharchitect talrijke kleine, middelgrote en grote projecten uitgevoerd. Het kantoor is gevestigd in Rotterdam. Eigenaar van het bureau is Jan David Hanrath. Vanaf 2004 werkt hij als zelfstandig architect. In de jaren daarvoor heeft hij ervaring opgedaan bij diverse architectenbureaus. Ook bezette hij elf jaar verschillende posities in de bibliotheekbranche in Nederland. Zijn functies liepen uiteen van een studentenbaan op de publieksafdelingen van de openbare bibliotheek Den Haag tot senior consultant voor het landelijk ICT Expertisecentrum voor openbare bibliotheken LAURENS. Op deze laatste positie was Jan David verantwoordelijk voor projecten als bibliotheek.nl, al@din, Zoek en Boek en de virtuele en fysieke Nationale Bibliotheekkaart. hanratharchitect is gespecialiseerd in de bouw en inrichting van bibliotheken en andere publieke ruimtes. Jan David Hanrath heeft ruime ervaring en expertise op dit vakgebied.
