Voices for Children of Tampa Bay

Voices for Children was founded in 1986 as the Child Advocacy Guild, Inc. The original stated purpose of the organization was to initiate fund raising events and methods and to direct those funds to appropriate activities of the Guardian ad Litem Program; to promote awareness of the activities of the program and to encourage volunteer resources; and to encourage community activity and awareness. Voices for Children (VFC) started with a need. The State of Florida requires that the interests of every abused and neglected child be represented by a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) in court. While the benefits of this are immeasurable to the child, there aren't enough Guardian Advocates for all of Hillsborough County's abused and neglected children. The GAL program doesn't receive adequate public funding. That's where VOICES helps. Voices for Children is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the volunteer guardians the financial means necessary for Guardian ad Litem to continue this vital service to children. Currently, the program can serve only about 67% of these children. Our goal is to provide 100% representation for the abused, neglected and abandoned children of Hillsborough County. Through a variety of private funding initiatives, Voices is able to provide the GAL Program with: Increase volunteer recruitment efforts. Identify and develop additional resources and support in order to increase representation of abused and neglected children. Provide increased training opportunities for staff, volunteers and board members through conferences, training and networking. Provide a unified voice to convey the importance of the work and services the program provides to dependent children.

"Trusted World is committed to providing the best resources, at no cost, to people or organizations who are providing services on someone else's behalf." We take in clothing donations from all over North Texas and we sort them by style, size and gender. When then provide these items online for other nonprofits to order. This way, an organization receive what they need for their client without having to worry about the space and labor it takes to get these items. There are no wasted items. The organization gets the exact sizes they need for their clients by ordering them online. This allows the organization to focus on their core efforts without spending any extra time trying to find the right resources for their clients. Trusted World is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the state of Texas. Our organization consists of a group of executives that have a proven track record on their own. Together they combine their skill to help raise the quality of life for their fellow humans who share this planet with us. They serve to bridge the gap to serve a common cause.

Helping Hands for Single Moms

Helping Hands for Single Moms assists low income single mom families while the mothers pursue a college education and financial independence. Financial assistance along with supportive services relieves the burdens and help the single mom complete her education.

All About Equine Animal Rescue, Inc

All About Equine rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes abused, neglected, abandoned horses, both wild and domestic, as well as those headed to auction and slaughter. AAE is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization, and donations provide support of our horses, programs, and operations. AAE was founded in 2009 by a couple of individuals who were heartbroken to see large numbers of horses being neglected, abandoned, or sent to auction/slaughter due in part to the economic downturn experienced by much of the country and Northern California, in particular. Wanting to make a difference, they determined to do all they could with what resources they could muster. They worked to turn a small family-owned ranchette into a working horse facility, and in June 2009, the concept of the rescue became a reality when the first two slaughter-bound mare/foal pairs were brought in from a foreign-owned slaughter feedlot operation in Nevada. Since that day, more than 185 horses have found their way through AAE's barn doors and are living healthy, happy, productive lives through the heroic efforts of our volunteers and the financial contributions of our donors.
