About Our Company
Founded in 2005, Kecskeméti Konzerv Kft.'s main activity is producing canned sweetcorn and green peas.
Kecskeméti Konzerv Kft. has grown tremendously, increasing its initial net sales revenue of 5 billion HUF to over four and a half times that amount today, expanding its workforce from 70 employees to approximately four times that number, and raising its production capacity from 80 million cans to 200 million cans.
Our company sources raw materials from about 50 producers, producing 2 million cans of sweetcorn and 1 million cans of green peas per day during the season.
In 2017, keeping Western European demand and health consciousness in mind, we expanded our portfolio to include canned white and red beans as well as chickpeas.
We maintain the strictest quality standards (IFS, BRC, and unannounced audits) in our production processes, with our products being GMO-free and distributed in BPA-NI cans. Our agricultural partners only use plant protection products approved by the EU.
We continuously upgrade our machinery, production technology, and expand our warehouse capacity, having invested approximately 11 billion HUF in development since 2017.
Kecskeméti Konzerv Kft. mainly exports (99%) its products, with 3,000 trucks transporting goods from our warehouses to nearly every corner of the world, primarily to European Union countries such as Germany, Italy, Austria, Czechia, Poland, Slovakia, Scandinavian markets, as well as to Japan, Israel, and Turkey, yearly.
Our company is fully committed to sustainable development and circular processes. We obtain the water necessary for production from our own wells, and the used water is sent to farmers as irrigation water, providing irrigation for approximately 3-400 hectares of farmland that produce agricultural raw materials for us.
