Au Gabon, le groupe Castel représente 21 marques pour près de 93 références, produites localement par ses trois principales sociétés : la Société des Boissons Raffraichissantes du Gabon (Sobraga), la Société des Vins du Gabon (Sovingab), et la Société des boissons de Léconi (Soboleco). Sobraga produit des boissons de renommées internationales : Orangina, Guinness ; et des boissons propres au groupe, devenues des références sur le marché africain, notamment Castel Beer, 33’ Export, Beaufort, D’Jino et Régab. En 1987, l’usine de Libreville est délocalisée dans la commune d’Owendo à une vingtaine de kilomètres de Libreville, puis d’autres usines ont vu le jour, notamment celle de Franceville 1971, Port-Gentil en 1972, Oyem en 1976 et Mouila en 1983. En 2009, les usines des Brasseries du Gabon (Libreville, Port-Gentil, Franceville, Oyem, Mouila) ainsi que SOVINGAB et SBS (Sobraga Business Services) obtiennent la certification ISO 9001 : 2008 pour l’ensemble des processus.
